Working to Promote Emotional Well-Being
Coping with an Ongoing Pandemic: We are here for you
Although COVID-19 is an ongoing concern, our world has discovered ways to continue most of our previous activities. Here at AVCS we now offer in-person services, both in Counseling on Campus and in our outpatient clinic. We have incorporated CDC guidelines so that our clients can come into our clinic as safely as possible. As well, we still offer our counseling services via telehealth, since some of our clients have expressed that preference.
Due to the ongoing nature of the pandemic, many continue experiencing feelings of depression, anxiousness, loneliness, or helplessness. The need for our services has increased, and you are not alone if you or a loved one are experiencing emotional suffering. The AVCS staff and clinicians care and are here for you. Please give us a call to learn how we can help. We offer affordable services.
AVCS is not equipped to respond to medical emergencies or severe mental health crises. If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911. If you have a mental health crisis, please call the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988 or text the Crisis Text Line at 741741.
