Working to Promote Emotional Well-Being

COVID-19 Update: We are here for you

During this challenging time when many may be experiencing feelings of anxiousness, loneliness, or helplessness as we shelter in place, the AVCS staff and clinicians care, and are here for you. Telehealth counseling services are now available and enable AVCS to better support our clients and community. Studies have shown that telehealth can be as effective as in-person therapy, and it is definitely a safer method at this time. As well, those who have participated in telehealth have often found it more convenient and find they have to cancel their sessions less often. Please give us a call to learn how we can help. We offer affordable services.

AVCS is not equipped to respond to medical emergencies or severe mental health crises. If you have a life threatening emergency, call 911. If you have a mental health crisis, please call the Santa Clara county crisis line at (855) 278-4204 or text the Crisis Text Line at 741741.
