Our Programs
Counseling Services
Counseling for children, adolescents, individual adults, couples, and families. Fees are based on a sliding scale and are determined by income.
Counselors on Campus
Counselors conduct outreach and intervention on school campuses, providing regularly scheduled and emergency services to over 30 San Jose schools.
Cooperative Parenting And Divorce Classes

Parenting Classes
Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) classes are offered quarterly. See “Parenting Classes” for the latest information.
Associate/Trainee Training Program
AVCS provides employment for associates and trainees completing or having completed master’s level clinical counseling programs. Supervision is conducted by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors. Twenty (20) or more hours per week are required.
